Born Perth, Scotland 1941

1960-66  Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee.

Scott Sutherland, R.S.A., F.R.B.S.).
Also Vienna, Florence, Rome, Amsterdam and Athens on extensive travel/study abroad.
1965  Graduated D.A. (Dundee) with distinction.
1965-66  Awarded Scottish Education Department Post-Graduate Scholarship.
1962  Awarded Dickson Prize for Sculpture.
1962  Awarded Holokrome (Dundee) Sculpture Prize and Commission.
1963  Awarded Scottish Education Department Travelling Scholarship.
1964  Awarded Royal Scottish Academy Chalmers Bursary.
1965  Awarded Royal Scottish Academy Carnegie Travelling Scholarship.
